We love educators !

Crayons to Calculators (C2C) is a great local non-profit, who have been collecting office and school supplies from the Durham community at large, and making them available for teachers in the Durham Public Schools (DPS) to acquire through (free) shopping trips at the C2C “store” – in recent years, approaching $250,000 in supplies !

Members of Rotary clubs in Durham, and notably our club, have been active in helping C2C with their supply drives, since their inception; with cleaning and organizing the C2C warehouse and storefront; and, in the case of our Past President Tom Liebhold, in serving on their board.

Recently, we joined with other Rotarians, family and friends to help clean and organize the terrific new C2C warehouse at 809 Bacon Street near the main Durham Tech campus.

Many hands make light work !
